Where has the year gone!

Oh my gosh, I can't believe that it has been almost a year since I have posted on my blog!  It seems the older I get, the faster the years seem to go by.

After spending a year living in a tiny little apartment while building a new home, we finally moved in July which meant unpacking a million boxes!  Slowly, but surely I have been sorting through the old and mixing in some new to create a new decor.  Still a few rooms to go but will share some pictures as soon as all is complete!

All of this mixed in with trips to visit family and working to keep my space at "The House at 755" filled with pretty treasures the time has flown by.  So here it is almost a year later since I have had a free minute to share through my blog!

Inspired by the wonderfully mild weather that we have been blessed with this winter, I have been creating some fabulous new treasures for spring and summer that I will be filling my store space with in the next couple of weeks!  Here are some of the sweet treasures I now have offered.

All in all, it has been a great year and I thank God for all of His blessings!  Thanks for stopping by!

Cottage Chic Spring Treasures!

Spring is almost here!
And I am so ready to see the snow be gone!
Can't wait for the tulips and daffodils to sprout up and the trees begin to blossom!
Anxiously awaiting sunshine and warmer temperatures, this sure has been a long, cold winter.

Off to romantic Jamaica for three weeks (I am so excited) to do nothing but relax, read, laugh, soak up the sunshine and sip champagne!  It will be so nice to see clear blue skies, soft white sand, the beautiful carribean blue ocean and colorful tropical flowers!  And, hopefully when I return spring will be here!

I have added lots of shabby sweet treasures to my store space at the "House at 755" for your enjoyment and pleasure!  Sure do hope you have a chance to stop by and take a peek!

Until I return in April...

Oh my gosh, where does the time go!  Another beautiful Christmas season has come and gone but here in New England our wintery weather sure is lingering!

Time to Simplify

Oh my gosh, it has been a while since I have had an opportunity to add a new post to my blog!

Life has been upside down the past couple of months...someone came along out of the blue and made an offer to purchase our house so we decided to sell and begin the process of building a new, smaller home!  In the meantime, I have been packing, selling on ebay and craigslist and attempting to maintain my local store space at the "House at 755" making my days nonstop!

Having the good fortune of having a husband that is a builder, when we built the home that we currently live in, he was a good enough sport to allow me the opportunity to incorporate all of my wishes and desires into designing my "dream home"!  I am, however, looking forward to simplifying and beginning anew once again!  Before we move I thought I would begin to share with you some pictures of some of my favorite rooms!

Being passionate about the simplicity of white, I love my kitchen!

One feature I hope to duplicate in the next house is my pretty mantle!

The living room, it's always nice having that one room in the house that never gets messed up!

The guest bath...I love the serence spa feeling of this bathroom!

My workroom...I will definitely miss this great studio space!

The view from my workroom!

The soothing sounds of the waterfall!

So here a just a few pictures and I promise to take more pictures before I move in August!

And, if you live in the area I have a couple of great pieces of furniture that I am selling that just aren't going to fit in the new house!  Here is a wonderful media cabinet armoir that is a fabulous cottage chic accent!

I have this listed on ebay with more pictures so take a  look!  It has gorgeous detailing!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!  Off to do some more packing....ugh!!!
