Cottage Chic Spring Treasures!

Spring is almost here!
And I am so ready to see the snow be gone!
Can't wait for the tulips and daffodils to sprout up and the trees begin to blossom!
Anxiously awaiting sunshine and warmer temperatures, this sure has been a long, cold winter.

Off to romantic Jamaica for three weeks (I am so excited) to do nothing but relax, read, laugh, soak up the sunshine and sip champagne!  It will be so nice to see clear blue skies, soft white sand, the beautiful carribean blue ocean and colorful tropical flowers!  And, hopefully when I return spring will be here!

I have added lots of shabby sweet treasures to my store space at the "House at 755" for your enjoyment and pleasure!  Sure do hope you have a chance to stop by and take a peek!

Until I return in April...

New Shabby Sweet and Cottage Chic Treasures!

Oh my gosh, where does the time go!  Another beautiful Christmas season has come and gone but here in New England our wintery weather sure is lingering!

Ignoring the mounds of snow outiside, my mind has already traveled to thoughts of spring and the melodious sounds of birds chirping with visions of bright blue skies, sunshine, warmer temperatures and the welcoming sight of daffodils and tulips beginning to blossom!  Inspired by the welcoming anticipation of spring I have created and re-invented some lovely new treasures for My Whimsical Victorian Chic Cottage located at the House at 755!

Hope you will have a chance to stop by and take a peek!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Christmas Wishes

Wishing You a Very Merry Christmas!

Oh my gosh, where has the time gone!  I apologize that it has been so many months since my last blog post.  Time sure flies by when life is filled with such an abundance of fun!

We are now, temporarily, settled into our little apartment while plugging away at building our new home which slowly but surely is coming along!  While my husband has been nicely attending to the building details I have been busy creating lots of treasures for "My Whimsical Victorian Chic Cottage"  shop located at "The House at 755".  Filled with lots of shabby sweet sparkle and pretty cottage chic Christmas decor...

Thanks for taking a look!

Wishing you the Merriest Christmas ever and a New Year filled with God's peace, love and comfort!

Time to Simplify

Oh my gosh, it has been a while since I have had an opportunity to add a new post to my blog!

Life has been upside down the past couple of months...someone came along out of the blue and made an offer to purchase our house so we decided to sell and begin the process of building a new, smaller home!  In the meantime, I have been packing, selling on ebay and craigslist and attempting to maintain my local store space at the "House at 755" making my days nonstop!

Having the good fortune of having a husband that is a builder, when we built the home that we currently live in, he was a good enough sport to allow me the opportunity to incorporate all of my wishes and desires into designing my "dream home"!  I am, however, looking forward to simplifying and beginning anew once again!  Before we move I thought I would begin to share with you some pictures of some of my favorite rooms!

Being passionate about the simplicity of white, I love my kitchen!

One feature I hope to duplicate in the next house is my pretty mantle!

The living room, it's always nice having that one room in the house that never gets messed up!

The guest bath...I love the serence spa feeling of this bathroom!

My workroom...I will definitely miss this great studio space!

The view from my workroom!

The soothing sounds of the waterfall!

So here a just a few pictures and I promise to take more pictures before I move in August!

And, if you live in the area I have a couple of great pieces of furniture that I am selling that just aren't going to fit in the new house!  Here is a wonderful media cabinet armoir that is a fabulous cottage chic accent!

I have this listed on ebay with more pictures so take a  look!  It has gorgeous detailing!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!  Off to do some more packing....ugh!!!

My Most Cherished Treasures

Just returned from a visit to Chapel Hill, North Carolina to visit my two daughters, son in-laws and precious three grandchildren!  I feel so blessed that God has given me such "cherished treasures!"

The weather was gorgeous in the high 80's with lots of sunshine and what a treat to see so many beautiful flowers blossoming!  It was such a relaxing and enjoyable week, although, my youngest daughter did put me to work painting all of her bedroom furniture!  I should have taken pictures!

It was tough to leave and return to such dreary, cold New England weather but it was at least inspiring to see that things were beginning to blossom at home!

Love this purple iris!

Beautiful fragrant lilacs!
Gorgeous pink rhododendrum!

So, like little Orphan Annie, I keep singing "maybe the sun will come out tomorrow!
